Case Study: Sertus - Transforming a New Brand into a Market Leader


Challenge: To elevate Sertus from an untrusted and unknown newcomer in the smoke ventilation industry to a market leader.


What We Did:

  1. Rebranding: Updated the aesthetic and tone of voice to resonate with the target market.
  2. Website Revamp: Developed a new, state-of-the-art website on scalable architecture with conversion paths encouraging specifiers to download product information.
  3. Comprehensive Product Information: Created a full suite of downloadable resources, including product data sheets, installation guides, and more, adhering to high standards and strict version control.
  4. CRM Integration: Implemented and integrated a new CRM system (HubSpot) with the website.
  5. Revitalising CPD Programs: Transformed an outdated CPD into a series of six educational CPDs.
  6. Automated Lead Management: Established a highly automated process within HubSpot for lead follow-ups, CPD bookings, and certificate issuance.
  7. CPD Booking Agency Partnership: Partnered with Advance Connects as a CPD booking agency.
  8. Continuous Improvement and Training: Implemented a process for continuous CPD improvement and trained additional staff for delivery.
  9. Robust Social Strategy: Developed a social strategy to support CPD content, achieving significant views on LinkedIn and YouTube.

  • CPD Increase: From four per month to 400 annually, delivered by two staff members.
  • Marketing Lead Value: Average monthly value rose to £1.3m.
