Aluzion
Supporting a new brand’s move into the education sector
Background
Aluzion is a new brand developed by Interlace Blinds, created specifically for the education sector. Their focus is on robust, long-lasting blinds for both mainstream and SEN learning environments. To support their entry into this space, the Aluzion team asked Paste to develop a suite of three CPDs.
Topic Selection
The team didn’t come to us with set topics in mind, so we guided them through the RIBA Core Curriculum and helped identify areas where they could genuinely offer value. From there, we worked together to shape relevant, engaging content that would resonate with education-focused architects and specifiers.
Technical Drafting
As a new brand, Aluzion didn’t have a big bank of technical resources. So, we started from scratch — researching the latest DfE specifications, British Standards, and design guidance for education spaces. Using this as our foundation, we put together a first draft with enough depth to hold up in front of a technical audience.
This draft was then reviewed by Aluzion’s team, who brought in their product knowledge and on-site experience. Their input helped shape the final content into something both practical and credible.
Design
With no formal brand guidelines in place, we used Aluzion’s website as our reference point for the visual direction. The finished designs are clean, modern, and in keeping with the brand – easy to read and professional without being over-designed.
Outcome
Aluzion now has a set of CPDs that help open doors with specifiers and consultants in the education space. They position the brand as a knowledgeable partner, not just a product supplier – and give the team the confidence to lead more technical conversations.
