From research to design, we do the heavy lifting.
Let the Paste team take pressure off CPD creation.
The CPD engine behind the UK’s best-known specification brands.
The CPD creation process
1. Briefing and brainstorming
Once we’ve got your topic suggestions, we’ll help shape them to appeal to as many specifiers as possible. We may suggest narrowing or broadening the focus, depending on who you’re looking to target.
3. Technical drafting
Our technical writers specialise in engineering, fire safety, construction and more. They’ll digest your material and create accurate, specialised content. We’ll assign the writer best suited to your subject and company.
5. Internal presentations
Once SME feedback is applied, our team presents the CPD internally to test flow and learning outcomes. These reviews ensure everything works as intended and are led by experienced CPD professionals.
7. Courtesy presentation
Once design is complete and we’ve done our final checks, we offer a courtesy run-through with your CPD delivery team via Microsoft Teams. This ensures you’re confident and comfortable before launch.
2. Source deepdive
We ask for as many source materials as possible, which we’ll review carefully from an outsider’s perspective. This ensures your CPD is both digestible for newcomers and still engaging for more experienced attendees.
4. SME Review
After our writers complete the first draft, we send a plain-text version to your Subject Matter Expert (SME) for review. This stage ensures accuracy and clarity before we move on to visuals and final formatting.
6. Design
When the draft meets our standards, our graphic designers format the content. We aim for clear, digestible slides and follow your brand where possible. We use fast, interactive design systems and processes to speed things up.
8. Iteration
We recommend presenting your CPD internally before requesting changes. It helps you spot edits, refinements or flow issues early. This step reduces the number of revisions needed and speeds things up.
