Customer Story
Polypipe
Polypipe needed to turn technical expertise into specifier engagement. With big changes in heating and energy legislation ahead, they asked us to help translate their knowledge into a suite of ten CPDs to strengthen their position with specifiers.
Client Overview
Polypipe is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of sustainable water and climate management systems. Already a trusted name in the construction sector, their challenge was not visibility but ensuring the industry kept pace with fast-approaching regulatory and environmental change.
Problem
The Future Homes Standard is one of the biggest changes in construction regulation in decades. By 2025, all new homes will need to produce 75–80% less carbon emissions, driving a rapid pivot away from gas heating towards low-carbon alternatives. For Polypipe, this was a great opportunity to lead the conversation: the industry urgently needed education, and Polypipe wanted to position themselves as the trusted partner helping architects and specifiers make sense of the change. Their existing CPDs weren’t enough to meet that need - they required fresh content that was clear, compelling, and responsive to the new regulatory landscape.
Solution
We partnered with Polypipe to build a new suite of CPDs from the ground up, centred on the challenges and opportunities arising from the Future Homes Standard. The sessions moved beyond product detail, focusing instead on the bigger picture: decarbonisation, system design, and the transition to a fossil-fuel-free future. To ensure impact, we brought structure, narrative, and data visualisation to the presentations, while also training the Polypipe team to deliver with confidence and authority. This isn’t a one-off project—it’s an evolving body of work, with new modules and updates being developed as regulations and technologies advance.
Outcome
The reimagined CPDs have positioned Polypipe as a leader in industry education, with strong uptake and engagement across architectural practices. Rather than a compliance box-tick, the sessions are sparking conversations about the future of building services and how to meet the demands of net zero. For Polypipe’s sales team, the CPDs are now a powerful and ongoing tool to build relationships and demonstrate thought leadership at a time of unprecedented change in the construction sector.
